The Infinium NEO CO₂ Gas Cooler is a smart, sustainable cooling solution designed for transcritical refrigeration systems using CO₂ — a natural refrigerant with ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP). Ideal for supermarkets, hypermarkets, cold storage, and commercial food retail, this adiabatic gas cooler delivers peak performance even in high ambient temperatures, enabling reliable operation without compromising sustainability targets.

Infinium NEO Transcritical CO₂ Gas Cooler is designed to efficiently reject heat from high-temperature CO₂ refrigerant through an advanced air-cooled heat exchange system. The gas cooler features a multi-stage heat exchanger configuration, with the CO₂ gas flowing through dedicated heat exchanger coils while ambient air is drawn across the coils to facilitate efficient heat rejection.
The high-temperature CO₂ enters the lower heat exchanger section, where it begins transferring its thermal load to the surrounding air. As the CO₂ moves through the heat exchanger coils, the cooling process continues progressively through the upper section, enabling effective heat rejection before the cooled CO₂ exits the system.
Integrated VFD fans regulate airflow across the heat exchanger coils, automatically responding to operating requirements to maintain efficient cooling performance. This variable-speed operation helps optimize fan energy consumption while supporting consistent gas cooler performance under changing thermal loads.
During wet-mode operation, water is introduced through the spray water inlets onto the adiabatic pads. The incoming ambient air passes through the wetted pads, reducing its temperature before entering the heat exchanger section. The pre-cooled air then passes across the CO₂ heat exchanger coils, enhancing heat rejection and supporting improved cooling performance under higher ambient conditions.
With its staged heat exchange, intelligent airflow management and adiabatic cooling capability, Infinium Transcritical CO₂ Gas Cooler delivers efficient, responsive and resource-conscious heat rejection for demanding refrigeration applications.
